Dedicated counselor in CCE

(from Cathie Witty)

The Center for Continuing Education (CCE) wants all Guilford faculty to be aware that the center has a dedicated counselor for adult students working to balance school with stressful life events such as loss and bereavement, stress, anxiety, medical issues, identifying learning disabilities, and any other emotional or behavioral issues that adult students can face. Adult students must be able to balance full lives between family, work, school and other responsibilities outside the college environment; the Student Government Association supports the services of an adult student counselor through student fees, and these services are free to all CCE students. If you are concerned about a student, please don’t hesitate to notify our counselor, Dr. Cathie Witty, directly, or let your student know they have a counselor available to them to help them through challenges in their personal and academic lives. Thank you.
