Home Cookin’ program with new changes

[From Miriam Biber]

Every year, the Alumni Relations Office hosts Home Cookin’, a potluck for the senior class with  food made by the faculty, staff, and alumni. This year we are doing things a bit differently and need your help to make it happen. Along with your offerings of delicious food, we are asking you to share the recipe for the dish you will bring to Home Cookin’ to compile a cookbook for the Class of 2015. We would love for the whole senior class to come away from this event and this semester with something tangible to remember their favorite community members, as well as provide another tool to make their shift into the post-grad world a bit easier. There are absolutely no requirements for what you can make and what recipes to submit for Home Cookin’, as long as it is something you love. Family recipes, easy weeknight side dishes, and nostalgic treats are all welcome.

We have made the recipe submission process very easy in hopes to encourage your participation in what is sure to be the best Home Cookin’ yet. To submit a recipe, to go guilford.edu/homecookin and fill out the recipe form. You can also email Julia Breskin ’14 directly with an existing PDF of a recipe at breskinjl@guilford.edu. Then, all you have to do is come to the Alumni House on April 13th at 5:30pm with your dish and an empty belly. Let us know if you have any questions.
